Huey: Obviously we are disappointed that the Broadway run of The Heart of Rock and Roll ended so soon. But this was only the beginning of our plans for the show… First, there is a lot to be proud of: It was the best reviewed play of the season. We performed 100 shows.
Just wanted to say I am sorry your musical finished way too early and hoping you will add Toronto, Ontario, Canada to your planned touring production. Toronto is very much a theatre city and you and your band have always been important to me. Looking forward to seeing your musical in Canada!
Just like yourself, I am extremely devastated and deeply upset by this. This Broadway play had extreme potential for success and I saw the road to success that this play was traveling on, and the only question that I had to ask myself when I heard the depressing news about the closing was "What happened and Why?". The cast and crew were extremely dynamic and energetic and after the preview that I went to on Saturday March 30th which was Corey Cott's birthday, I had the pleasure of meeting the cast and crew. I really feel so badly for the cast and crew about this loss, and hopefully Huey, if this show gets picked up on the west coast(hopefully Los Angeles), being I will be on vacation at that time, I will with a friend come and see the show again. I hope truthfully this is not the end of a magical show, and Huey the most I can say about this is I created many beautiful memories about attending the preview on March 30th and I hope this show will return. Thanks again for the memories Huey. God Bless!!!

Hoping the show comes to Michigan next year, whether it’s Detroit area, Grand Rapids, or elsewhere. I’ll be there with bells on to bask in the glow of HLN music and enjoy a fun show!
