Our Original Rehearsal Space
Bill: We used to rehearse in Terra Linda, California at this place called Joseph Court. Sound Hole, the band I was in with Johnny and Mario, started rehearsing there in 1973 or 74. And we kept the same little cinder block warehouse through the beginning of Huey Lewis & The News. We later expanded, getting the two warehouses next to us. Eventually Johnny picked up the place at the end. I think it was originally a cookie factory or something like that. But it had space for a control room and a decent sounding room to record the band in.
