Huey: Terrible news. Brian was among a handful of the most important American popular musical artists of all time. Extremely talented and vastly influential, his music will live on forever.
Brian was my first musical influence. I learned vocalizations, chord structures, and melodies working freely with emotions. A profound loss to the music world.
So glad we got to see him many years ago at the Moore in Seattle
